Marine eyes

Connects to masts which have a pair of tangs and a clevis pin,or to jaw-jaw turnbuckles. Measure to the center of the eye, not the end of the fitting. Pin diameters are generally twice the wire diameter.

T Terminals(Gibb, others)

T terminals are popular because they can be removed from a mast without tools, when trailering or changing rigging wires, Measure to the surface which contracts the mast, i.e, the inside of the T.
Note: Old style 3/16" terminals fit mast sockets with four rivets; new styles have 2 rivets; new style have 2 rivets. Please specify which type you have.

Swage Studs

Used to connect to turnbuckle bodies. All studs have right hand(normal) threads, although left hand threads are available by social order.

Aircraft Eyes

Very similar to marine eyes, except aircraft eyes are thinner. The thinner section allows aircraft eyes to fit inside of an aircraft fork, to produce to hinged connection. Measure to the Center of the eye, not the end of the fitting. Pin diameters are generally 150% of the wire diameter.

Stemballs

Used on most lsomat and Sparcraft Blue Label masts. Stemballs are supplied with cupples(cup shapped washers) on the wire. When measuring, measure from the bearing surface of the cupple.

Toggle Jaws

Also called swage eye toggles, these terminals provide more freedom of movement at the end of the wire, due to the pivoting action. Measure to the center of the clevis pin hole.

Turnbuckles

AWe can supply either Navtec Series 500 turnbuckles, Alex-ander Roberts open body bronze turnbuckles, or C.S Johnson stainless steel closed body turnbuckles. When measuring, send us the center of pin-to-center of pin dimensions. We will match this length with turnbuckle screwed in 1/3 of the way. This will allow for stretch in the wire.
