F.K.G. Marine Rigging has been serving the marine industry for over 35 years, with quality products and services. We have seen the size and types of boats change as well as the rigging that that they use. We pride ourselves on being able to supply and service the rigging needs of boats of almost any size.
Our rigging department is able to provide a number of services such as but not limited to,
• Rod cold headed to -170 on site, larger sizes shipped in from manufacturer duty free
- • Nicropress capability to 1/2" (12mm) diameter
- • Wire swaging to 1 1/8” (28 mm) diameter wire
- • High tech synthetic rigging including aramids, Kevlar, PBO and Carbon
- • Complete evaluation and specification of standing and running rigging for vessels of any size
- • Mast surveys/rig inspections for insurance or personal piece of mind.
- • Mast supplying, building and splicing.
- • Winch service, including electric and hydraulic winches.
- • Roller furling parts and servicing for most makes including Furlex, Harken, Hood, Profurl, Reckmann, Rondal and others.
- • Set up and tuning of masts.
- • Pull testing to 150,000lbs (68000 Kg) on certified test bed with printed graph certificate, ideal for lifting equipment certification.
- • Able to pull masts up to 170 ft in length.
- • We stock a large range of rope, from dock lines through to high-tech racing lines.
